Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday affirmed the necessity of continuing to combat terrorism in Syria and continuing the dialogue to find a political solution to the crisis in it.
Putin’s remarks came during a phone call with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
A statement issued by the Kremlin quoted by Russia Today website noted that the two sides discussed the situations in Syria and the process of implementing the Russian-Turkish agreements which are related to northeastern Syria and Idleb area.
On Dec. 11th, President Putin asserted in a phone call with President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan the necessity of fully implementing the Russian-Turkish understandings in Idleb and southeastern Syria.
