Temperatures around average, frost expected in a number of areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and at night the weather will be cold and frost is expected over the mountains and some inland areas.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 2/19, Daraa 6/21, Homs 3/18, Lattakia 13/25, Aleppo 3/19 and Deir Ezzor 4/21.
