Lavrov underlines necessity to settle crisis in Syria based on UN resolution no. 2254

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry stressed the necessity of settling the crisis in Syria based on the UN resolution no. 2254 and eradicating terrorism in Idleb.

In a press conference with his Bahraini counterpart Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammad Al Khalifa in Moscow on Wednesday, Lavrov renewed the need to exert all possible efforts for the reconstruction in Syria, and the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland.

Russia will continue the work to settle the crisis in Syria based on the UN resolution no. 2254 and on the outcomes of Sochi Conference for Syrian national dialogue, and Astana Format, Lavrov indicated.
