Temperatures below average, thundershowers expected in different areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied with a relatively cold and wet air mass.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy in general and the rains will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes, particularly in the southern area and in Damascus and al-Qalamoun area.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 24/14, Daraa 25/14, Homs 24/14, Lattakia 28/21, Aleppo 22/13 and Deir Ezzor 30/19.
