Aleppo, SANA, People of Ayn al-Arab, northeast of Aleppo, restored control over a number of streets and buildings in the southern part of the city after fierce clashes with terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)organization who fired mortar shells on several areas in the city.
Local sources said that Ayn al-Arab people attributed slow progress to the booby-trapped houses and explosives which terrorists left behind before their withdrawal, noting that a civilian was killed in a mine explosion.
In the same context, some media sources reported that the U.S and its allies launched Monday night three airstrikes against ISIS gatherings and centers in the southeast of the city.
