An event at Syrian Embassy in Havana to commemorate Syrian-Caribbean day

Havana-SANA_ The Syrian Embassy in the Republic of Cuba held an event entitled “Syrian-Caribbean Day” in the presence of ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions of Caribbean countries accredited to Cuba.

A documentary film that shows the real image of Syria and its civilization was screened.

The documentary shed light on the cohesion and concordance between the different components of Syrian society and underlined, moreover, the failure of the conspiracy and the terrorist war against Syria.

Syria’s ambassador to Cuba, Idris Mayya, spoke about the latest developments in Syria, saying that Turkish aggression against it is a flagrant invasion and a violation of UN Security Council resolutions that insist on independence , unity and sovereignty of Syria.

For their part, the ambassadors reiterated  rejection of foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs, affirming the importance of strengthening relations between their countries and Syria in all areas.
