Damascus, SANA-People’s Assembly on Monday held an ordinary session, led by Speaker Hammoudah Sabbagh, to discuss the performance of Education Ministry.
Education Minister, Imad al-Azab, briefed members of the Assembly on the situation of education process in Syria since the beginning of the crisis until today.
He clarified that the number of schools that were completely destroyed due to terrorism reached at nearly 5000 ones, adding that the Ministry has been able to rehabilitate 1554 school and submitted a study to rehabilitate 1000 one.
The Minister affirmed that the education process has made an important step in developing curriculums and boosting the role of teachers through launching new programs of training cadres.
