Provinces, SANA- Units of the armed forces on Monday continued to tighten their grip on the terrorist groups through launching more qualitative operations across the country, eliminating large numbers of them.
Hama
Army units killed and injured scores of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Latamneh, al-Qastal al-Westani, to the east of Uqaribat, Souha and Tal Salmah in the countryside of the province.
Idleb
Units of the armed forces destroyed a camp of terrorists in Khan al-Subul and several dens in Ma’ar Dibsa and Khan Sheikhoun, killing all terrorists inside them and destroying one of their vehicles in al-Taman’a. Scores of terrorists in al-Habbit in the countryside of the province were also killed.
Units of the army killed several Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and wounded others west of Khan al-Subul in Idleb countryside, most of them are non-Syrians, including 9 Saudis, and destroyed several vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
Deir Ezzor
An army unit clashed with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists, killing three of them and injuring more than twenty others in Howeijet Saker in the province.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that a cannon and a vehicle were destroyed in the clash.
Homs
Army units destroyed a hideout used by leaders of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorist organizations along with 4 vehicles equipped with machineguns in al-Ameriye area in Homs province, in addition to a weapons cache in Deir Fuul, leaving many terrorists dead or injured.
Other units eliminated large numbers of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in the surroundings of al-Shael gas field and Jazal and in the areas of al-Tibeh, al-Majbal, al-Kadir, al-Qibab, Jibab Hamad, al-Mshayrfeh quarry, and al-Qabaliye.
An army unit eliminated a number of terrorists near the cultural center in al-Rastan and in the village of al-Sultaniye, while another unit destroyed a terrorist hideout along with everyone inside it in Hosh al-Zawahra.
Daraa
Army units destroyed a terrorist gathering in the town of Dael and a hideout for the “Ibad al-Rahman brigade” terrorist organizations in the town of Tafas in Daraa countryside, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Damascus countryside
Units of the armed forces killed large numbers of terrorists and injured others, destroying their weaponry and ammunition including a 23-mm cannon in a series of operations most of which were launched in eastern Ghota and al-Qalamoun mountains in Damascus countryside.
SANA field reporter said that terrorists’ dens were destroyed with all the weaponry and ammunition inside them and at least 20 terrorists were killed and injured in the farms of al-Eib in Douma area.
Terrorists Adnan al-Dibes and Khalil al-Dalati were identified among the killed.
In a concentrated operation launched in the surrounding of Ghabir square in Erbin town, the army destroyed one of the terrorists’ dens and killed scores of them.Terrorist Sultan al-Fawwal was among the killed.
Meanwhile, another army unit hunted a number of terrorists to the east of al-Thanawiya roundabout in Harasta, killing scores of them and injuring others. Many terrorists were also killed after targeting one of their dens to the east of al-Manasher roundabout in Joubar neighborhood.
The army continued to press deeper in Bala farms in eastern Ghota, killing many terrorists and destroying their weaponry and ammunition.
Several dens of terrorists were also destroyed and all the terrorists inside them were killed in a series of operations launched by an army unit in the farms of Harasta al-Qantara.
In al-Qalamoun Mountains, units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into Jaroud Asal el-Ward town, killing many of them and destroying one of their 23-mm antiaircraft cannon.
A number of terrorists were also killed near al-Zamrani crossroads in Jaroud Qara town on the Syrian-Lebanese borders.
