Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become around average in most areas as the country is affected by a low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air current in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern area and it will be cold at night, warning against fog in the early morning over the mountains and some inland areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/16, Daraa 30/16, Homs 28/19, Lattakia 30/23, Aleppo 31/18 and Deir Ezzor 34/19.
