Moscow, SANA- First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council’s Committee on International Affairs, Vladimir Jabbarov affirmed the operations of the Syrian Arab Army against terrorists in Idleb province are “absolutely legitimate”.
Terrorist groups mostly affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra which is on the international terrorism list, in addition to other terrorist groups including foreign terrorists have entered through the Turkish borders backed by the Turkish regime which has provided all types of support to them through providing them with qualitative weapons which they have used for attacking army posts and safe villages and towns.
In a statement on Tuesday, Jabbarov said “The Syrian army is doing what it should do which is defending its territories in the face of terrorism.”
The Russian parliamentarian asserted his country’s rejection of the interference of any country without a request by the Syrian Government, adding that Russia could “provide a certain help” if it is asked to do so.
