Rio De Janeiro, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov underlined Friday that the solution to the crisis in Syria will be through restoration of its sovereignty on its territories and elimination of the remaining terrorists there.
“The international community has to help push the political process in Syria forwards,” RT quoted Lavrov as saying in a speech at a meeting for BRICS foreign Ministers.
He added that the political process should be led by the Syrians themselves.
Lavrov affirmed that it is very important to support the reconstruction process in Syria, calling on partners of Russia inside BRICS to help complete this process.
