Sweida, SANA- 26 new craft and industrial facilities in the domains of engineering, food, chemical and textile industries entered the stage of production in Sweida province over the first half of the current year.
Head of Sweida Industry Directorate Haitham Amer said in a statement to SANA reporter that the capital of the facilities which started production in the province over the past six months is estimated at about SYP 180 million.
Amer added that 9 new industrial facilities have been licensed recently, while there are 26 facilities under construction and 5 facilities which have been partially executed according to the investment law no. 10.
He indicated that the Directorate is regularly following up the reality of the facilities and it works on overcoming the obstacles facing the laborers at the industrial sector.
