Al-Wathba crowned champion of the republic cup

Damascus, SANA-For the first time, Syrian football team of al-Wathba was crowned hero of the Republic Cup when it beat al-Talia’a counterpart 7-6 in the penalty kicks after both teams tied in the original time of the match 1-1.

The game was held Friday at Tishreen stadium in Damascus.
