Thousands of mortar shells found in Deir Ezzor and Raqqa countryside

Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, SANA-Competent authorities and units of the army discovered on Monday caches of munitions and powerful explosive materials, left by Daesh terrorists in Raqqa southern countryside and Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.

SANA reporter said that the competent authorities and units of the army found a cache that includes many rooms in Zore Shamra town in Raqqa southern countryside where engineering units combed the place and reached many rooms underground.

The reporter added that nearly 12 thousand mortar shells, of different volumes, were seized.

Meanwhile, the army found another cache, left by terrorists, that includes mortars and powerful  explosive materials in al-Mayadeen in Deir Ezzor countryside.
