Grospic: Continued Turkish, US military presence in Syria illegitimate and unacceptable issue

Prague, SANA- Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic affirmed that the continuation of the US and Turkish military presence on the Syrian territories is an illegitimate issue and it couldn’t be accepted and it represents the only obstacle in the face of liberating Syria as a whole from terrorism.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague on Wednesday, Grospic said “The regime of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is supporting, financing and arming terrorist groups in the areas which it occupies in Syria and on the other hand it protests against the operations which aim at eliminating terrorism hotbeds in Idleb.”

He noted that there are massacres committed against the civilians in the areas in which the US forces and their mercenaries are deployed which is not accepted at all.

Grospic asserted the necessity of respecting the Security Council’s resolution no. /2254/ which affirms Syria’s unity, sovereignty and stability, adding that the stability of the situation in Syria and starting the reconstruction stage in it represent one of the main basis for realizing stability in the region as a whole.
