Damascus, SANA-Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem affirmed that there is continuous coordination between Syria and Iran.
“Syria continuously coordinates with the Islamic republic of Iran,” al-Moallem told Tasnim news agency in a statement, adding that the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Damascus “came in the proper time to discuss issues on boosting bilateral relations.”
On the US latest measure that put the Iranian revolutionary Guard on the terrorist organizations’ list, al-Moallem said that President Trump knows nothing about law, geography or the situation in the region and he adopts resolutions in the interest of “Israel.”
Al-Moallem appreciated the Syrian Arab army’s victories on terrorism, saying that these victories are for both Syrian and Iranian peoples.
