Muscat, SANA- Syria’s national weightlifting team has made a new achievement through harvesting 14 gold medals, 6 silver medals and a bronze medal through its participation in West Asia Championship held in the Omani capital of Muscat.
Mirna Hasan won three golden medals for under-eighteen females for the weight of 71 kg. Abdul-Qader Amin won three golden medals for the competitions of 73 kg for under-eighteen males and a bronze medal for men for the competition 81 kg and two silver medals for under-eighteen males.
