Damascus, SANA- Syria expressed deep regret over a ferry sinking in the Tigris River, which claimed lives of scores of Iraqi innocent citizens, an official source at Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said.
“Syrian Arab Republic, shares brotherly Iraq its sorrow in this painful event,” the source said, adding that it expresses its sincere condolences to the Iraqi leadership, government and people and of bereaved families of the victims.
