Homs, SANA_ After demining the ancient city of Palmyra, works of cleaning and removing the debris resulted from terrorist attacks on its cultural and historical landmarks have begun to make the city ready to receive tourist delegations as the tourist season approaches.
SANA reporter said that the workshops of restoration and cleaning affiliated to the Directorate of Antiquities of Palmyra started to remove the debris from the streets, corridors and the archaeological theater where festivals and art concerts are held.
At the beginning of March 2017, the Syrian Arab army recaptured Palmyra, inflicting a significant losses upon Deash terrorist organization which committed massacres against inhabitants of the safe villages and towns that attacked them in the area.
