Educational sector in Deir Ezzor witnesses rapid recovery after liberation from terrorism  

Deir Ezzor, SANA- The educational sector in Deir Ezzor province has achieved rapid recovery steps as the educational process has been resumed at a large number of schools since breaking the siege imposed on the city by terrorists and liberating most of its areas.

Tens of thousands of students returned to their schools declaring the revival of the educational sector after eradicating Daesh (ISIS) terrorists who tried to spread their dark and narrow-minded mentality in the province.

The number of schools for the schoolyear 2017-2018 reached up to 268, while seven institutes were put into service and the number of students reached 105 thousands, Head of the Educational Directorate in Deir Ezzor Khalil Haj Obeid told SANA.

Haj Obeid indicated that the schools which have been put into service spread across all the areas in the province, adding that the schools have been supplied with the teachings staffs, books, desks and all the other requirements of the educational process.

The Syrian Governments pays a great attention to educational sector in Deir Ezzor Province and since restoring security and stability to the province, the bodies concerned have worked on rehabilitating a large number of schools and supplied them with all the requirements of the educational process.
