Provinces, SANA- Units of the armed forces carried out operations against dens and gatherings of terrorists in several areas, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
A military source told SANA that the army units targeted a training camp for the so-called “Jund al-Aqsa” terrorist organization on the road between Koureen and Bkfaloun towns in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb, a military source said.
SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that the operation left many terrorists dead and wounded, most of them were non-Syrian, and resulted also in destroying two cars equipped with two heavy machine guns and 3 motorcycles.
Abu Ameen al-Uzbaki form Uzbekistan was identified among the killed terrorists, the source noted.
Another army unit destroyed a den for terrorists affiliated to the so-called “Suqour al-Sham Brigades” in the area surrounding Benin in Jabal al-Zawieh in the countryside.
13 terrorists were killed and tens of others were wounded, the source confirmed, adding that a pick up car equipped with a heavy machine gun was
destroyed.
Among the dead terrorists were Rashad Abdulmun’em Khalifa, Abdulkader Ibrahim Khalifa and 3 other terrorists who held Saudi nationality.
In the same context, large numbers of terrorists were killed, others were left wounded and their equipment were destroyed as army units targeted their gatherings in the towns and villages of al-Rami, Mari’yan, Koureen farms, Kafr shlaya, Eyn Shib, Maaret al-Numan and al-Hbeit in the countryside of the province .
Army units launched a number of operations in several areas in Damascus Countryside, killing and injuring scores of terrorists, many of them of non-Syrian nationalities,destroying their hideouts and concentrations.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army continued advancing in Jobar neighborhood and foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into Harasta from Erbeen. Five terrorists were killed, including Abdul-Sattar Mahameed from Jordan and Tareq al-Sabsabi.
The army also clashed with terrorists in Zamalka and destroyed their gatherings and hideouts in Douma. Among the dead were Nabhan Salwa from Libya, Mwafaq Barkhash and Hassan Taha.
Meanwhile, army units targeted terrorists in Jisreen and Kifr Batna, killing and injuring a number of them and destroying their hideouts and concentrations. Terrorists Nayef al-Waraqi from Saudi Arabia and Maher al-Sharar were identified among the dead.
In al-Qalamoun near the Syrian-Lebanese borders, the army clashed with terrorists in Ras al-Maara and al-Mishirfi. A number of terrorists were killed or wounded in the process.
Meanwhile, other army units targeted dens and gatherings of terrorists to the north and west of Nasib, Naheta and al-Tiba towns in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa, leaving many of them dead and wounded, in addition to destroying several of their vehicles.
In the same context, the army units foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate from the direction of Um Sahrij village towards Tuloul al-Hawa village in the eastern countryside of the central province of Homs, killing scores of them and wounding others.
Units of the armed forces also targeted gatherings of terrorists in Abu Huwadit village, near Kiseen and to the west of Kafr Nan, killing several of them and injuring others
The army units expanded control over the area surrounding al-Madafeh hill in the countryside of the northern province of Aleppo, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
A military source told SANA that other army units targeted dens and gatherings of terrorists in al-Shaqif, Maaret al-Artiq, Kfar Hamra, Andan and al-Ramouseh in the city and countryside of Aleppo.
Scores of terrorists were killed and others were left wounded, while their vehicles were destroyed as a result of the operations.
The army units also destroyed vehicles, gatherings and dens of terrorists in Um al-Izam, al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh, al-Ajraf, Um Batina and Rweihina in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra.
