Abu Dhabi, SANA- Syrian Equestrian Shadi Gharib ranked first in the Grand Prix competitions at the Al Ain Show Jumping Championship after three days of competitions with wide international participation.
Gharib came in the first place after finishing the top category track as the height of the barricades reached up to 145 cm with a time of 39,89 seconds.
Syrian equestrians in general made good achievements in the championship as in the competitions of the first day, equestrian Emad Gharib came in the first position in the 130cm category for the young equestrians scoring a time of 38,57 seconds.
Meanwhile, Syrian Equestrian Ahmad Hamshou ranked second in the competitions of the 140 cm category with a time of 28,18 seconds while equestrian Shadi Gharib ranked third in the same category with a time of 28,23 seconds.
In the competitions of the second day, equestrian Mohammad al-Husari ranked third in the competitions of the 110 cm category for children while equestrian Emad Gharib came fourth in the 130 cm category with a time of 40,02 seconds.
In the third day of the championship, equestrian Hisham Gharib ranked first in the 130 cm category with a time of 23 seconds while equestrian Mohammad al-Husari came in the second place in the 110 cm category with a time of 59,47 cm.
