Moscow, SANA _ Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that painful strikes have been directed to Daesh terrorist organization in Syria.
During the annual news conference in Moscow Thursday, President Putin added that most of the Syrian territories have been liberated from terrorism.
He stressed that the US military presence in Syria is illegal, depicting decision of the United States to withdraw its troops from it as a right step.
“So far we do not see indications of the withdrawal of US troops from Syria as the US decision in this area is not clear,”Putin said.
