Tunis, SANA The Syrian weightlifting national team continue to win more medals in the competitions of the Arab Weightlifting Championship that is currently held in Tunisia with the participation of 13 Arab countries.
Ali Rasha,18, won three bronze medals in the snatch and the clean and jerk competitions of the
85 kg category on the third day of the Championship.
Meanwhile, Helen Muhsen earned two silver medals in the clean and jerk competitions of the +75 kg category for women.
The Syrian team’s new wins have brought the total of medals up to15, including 3 golds, 3 silvers
and 9 bronzes.
