Damascus, SANA- The General Establishment for Free Zones has achieved revenues of SYP 3. 3 billion since the beginning of the current year till the end of October,2018.

The goods entering the free zones are worth SYP 50.5 billion over the first ten months of 2018, whereas the value of exported goods reached SYP 39.5 billion, according to a report issued by General Establishment for Free Zones.

The report clarified that the capital invested in the Syrian free zones amounted to $ 750 million belonging to 1038 investors, indicating that the value of customs duty during the mentioned period is estimated at $4.5 million.
