Hamsho discusses with Iranian officials means of developing cooperation in economic and development fields

Tehran, SANA – Secretary-General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce Mohammad Hamsho discussed with Iranian Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Asghar Fakhrieh Kashan cooperation between the private sectors in Syria and Iran.

Fakhrieh said that the Iranian private sector and its companies are fully prepared to cooperate with the private sector in Syria.

Hamsho indicated to the importance of working with Iran through genuine partnerships to rebuild Syria, noting that there are cooperation prospects in several fields such as banking, transport, and shipping.

Hamsho also reviewed with the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Hossein Mirshojaeian cooperation in customs, investment, stock markets, and development projects, as well as raising the volume of trade exchange.

The two sides stressed the importance of focusing on infrastructure and service sectors.

Hamsho discussed with the Deputy Minister of Industry Mojtaba Khosrotaj the revitalization of free trade and founding joint companies between the private and the public sectors in Iran and Syria to launch development projects.
