Hamacek: Presence of Czech embassy in Damascus serves interests of Czech Republic and its allies

Prague, SANA – Czech Foreign Minister Jan Hamacek stressed that the Ministry doesn’t plan to make any changes regarding the Czech Embassy in Damascus.

Hamacek said in a statement that the Embassy has much work and it performs it well and this is what annoys some parties.

He reiterated that withdrawing Ambassador Eva Filipi from Damascus isn’t in the interest of the Czech Republic or its allies, since the presence of the Czech Ambassador serves these interests.
