Paris, SANA – Syrian athlete Majd Eddin Ghazal won the bronze medal in high jump competition at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Monaco.
Ghazal ranked third as he jumped 227 cm, 3 cm less than his Chinese counterpart who won the second place while the first place went to the Russian athlete who succeeded to jump 240 cm.
With this achievement Ghazal is qualified to the finals set to be held in Brussels.
