Madrid, SANA- the Syrian boxing team wins gold and silver medals in Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018won one gold medal and one silver medal in the Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018 currently being held in Spain.
Syrian boxer Ahmad Ghossoun beat the Italian boxer Salvatore Cavallaro in the final match of the 75kg category, winning the gold medal.
Boxer Hussein Al Masri also won the 52kg silver medal after losing in the final match against Gabriel Escobar Mascunano from Spain.
