Washington, SANA – Two soldiers of the US-led coalition which is allegedly battling terrorism in Syria were killed by an improvised explosive device and five other coalition members were injured in Manbij city in Aleppo countryside.
Two personnel had been killed and five wounded in Syria by an improvised explosive device on Thursday, Reuters quoted a statement by Washington’s coalition.
A Pentagon official announced that one of the soldiers killed in the blast was an American, while the British Ministry of Defence confirmed the second soldier came from within its ranks saying, “The individual was embedded with US forces when the incident occurred.”
Since August 2014, Washington has been leading the so-called international coalition allegedly tasked with combating terrorism in Syria, a coalition responsible for destroying infrastructure and committing massacres against civilians.
