Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure accompanied by western airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general; rain showers are expected on the coastal and northwesterly areas and al-Jazira.
The winds will be western to southwestern of moderate while the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 23/08, daraa23/09, Homs 19/08, Hama 23/09, Lattakia 22/13, Aleppo 20/07 and Deir Ezzor 25/12.
