Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will drop to become slightly below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy and rainy and the rainfalls will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes while snow will fall over the mountains whose height exceeds 1500 meters.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with an active speed that reaches up to 70 km per hour while the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Damascus Countryside 4 mm, Quneitra 13 mm, Daraa 5mm and Hasaka 4 mm.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 13/6, Daraa 14/7, Homs 11/6, Lattakia 16/11, Aleppo 12/5 and Deir Ezzor 15/7.
