Army discovers Israeli-made weapons and ammunition in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor, SANA – Syrian Arab Army units discovered large amounts of weapons and ammunition, some of them Israeli-made, while canvassing areas liberated from Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in al-Boukamal and al-Mayadin areas in Deir Ezzor province.

A military source told SANA Tuesday that while combing the villages of al-Saiyal and Hasarat in the eastern countryside of al-Boukamal city, army units discovered depots containing huge amounts of rockets, mortars, and tank shells, some of them Israeli-made, in addition to improvised cannons, landmines, and explosive devices.

The source added that army units continued combing the rest of villages after liberating them from Daesh, asserting that the army found in one of the tunnels in al-Sbikhan village to the east of al-Mayadin a factory for manufacturing shells, explosives, and barrels containing suspected materials, that could be used for manufacturing toxic substances.
