Hasaka, SANA – A holy mass was held at St George Syriac Orthodox Church in Hasaka on occasion of Christmas.
The prayers called for peace, security, and stability in Syria and the victory of the Syrian Arab Army over terrorism.
Attending the mass, Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh emphasized that final victory over terrorism is near and would happen in 2018 due to people’s resistance and the bravery of the army in defending the homeland.
Priests, pastors, Islamic scholars, officials, and social figures from Hasaka province attended the mass.
