Baghdad, SANA – “Made in Syria” Exhibition, currently held in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad with the aim of marketing agricultural, food, chemical and textile products, wrapped up its activities.
The exhibition which lasted from December 9th till January 6th achieved a remarkable success as more than 1.25 million Iraqis visited its pavilions, not to mention marketing Syrian goods and signing contracts with Iraqi companies.
One of the Syrian exhibitors, Talal Khdeir noted that 200 Syrian industrial and productive companies showcased their products in an area of 7000 square meters, noting that the Syrian product has preserved its reputation and high quality despite suspension for more than 5 years.
Khdeir added that the more than 800 tons of goods have been marketed during the exhibition
For his part, Director of Iraqi Date Processing and Marketing Company, Faleh al-Shammari hailed the success of the exhibition, indicating to the tens of contracts signed between Syrian and Iraqi tradesmen and companies to supply the Iraqi markets with Syrian goods throughout the year, in addition to opening several trade centers to market Syrian products in different Iraqi provinces.
He indicated that two exhibitions will be held in February and March, not to mention preparations for hosting other exhibition in different Iraqi provinces.
