“Jasmine” film participates in Erato International Film Festival for Human Rights in Libya

Damascus, SANA –The short film “Jasmine” directed by al-Mouhannad Kalthoum is to compete along with 76 Arab and foreign films in the official competition of Erato International Film Festival for Human Rights due to kick off on Sunday in the Libyan capital of Tripoli.

In a press statement, Head of the festival, Anwar Qarqoum, said that the event aims at providing appropriate environment for filmmakers and helping them convey display their creative works, captivate the audience and convey their messages, hailing the wide international participation in the festival.

The festival which is organized by Erato organization for Media and Culture lasts till December 14th.

“Jasmine” is a type of docudrama (documentary drama) which narrates the story of Syrian children and their suffering due to terrorist war and its severe consequences on their lives and dreams yet there is still hope in the future despite the pain.
