Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise, yet remain lower than average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by western airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general; intensive clouds will gather over the northwesterly and coastal areas as rain showers are expected on those areas.
The winds will be changeable; it will be southeastern of low speed in the morning and turns to southwestern of low to moderate speed in the evening, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 18/09, Daraa 17/10, Homs 17/07, Hama 18/06, Lattakia 21/13, Aleppo 17/07 and Deir Ezzor 20/10.
