Prominent Karate coach Fadel Radi killed in terrorist attack

Damascus, SANA – Syrian national Karate teams coach, Fadel Radi, died of shrapnel wounds he sustained in a terrorist shelling attack that took place Thursday evening.

Radi was injured as he was leaving al-Majd club in Bab Musalla area in Damascus city.

He is one of seven people who were killed in terrorist shelling attacks that hit a number of neighborhoods in the capital yesterday.

Born in 1948, Radi was one of the prominent founders of Karate sport in Syria since 1970 and has many achievements to his name on the Arab and international levels.
