Tourism Minister: European airlines want to re-run flights to Syria

Damascus, SANA-Tourism Minister Bishr Yazigi has said that a number of European airlines want to re-run flights to Syria.

During a meeting on Friday with French delegation, includes a number of intellectuals and researchers, Yazigi pointed out that the tourism sector suffered huge damage during the crisis due to terrorism.

In turn, members of the delegation expressed their desire to bring tourist delegations to Syria, especially to the photography exhibition which will be held in Aleppo to show the world the modern civilizational creativity.

In a press statement, Yannick Ducrot, the head of the delegation, said that the delegation along with a number of Syrian residing in France willing to prepare for a Syrian week in Paris by the beginning of 2018 through which they will inform the world of the political, cultural and intellectual victory of Syria.

During the meeting a film was screened showing  the damage that affected the tourism sector in Syria by the armed terrorist groups.
