Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by an Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy and local rain showers might fall over the coastal areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 35/22, Daraa 35/20, Lattakia 31/24, Aleppo 36/20 and Deir Ezzor 41/26.
