Damascus,Homs, SANA – Three persons were injured when armed terrorist groups fired six mortar and rocket shells on residential neighborhoods in Damascus city, in a new violation of the de-escalation zone memorandum in the Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside.
A source at Damascus Police command told SANA that the armed terrorist groups positioned in Eastern Ghouta targeted Damascus city with six shells, three of which landed in Bab Touma neighborhood, injuring one person, while the other three targeted al-Hamidiyeh area, injuring two others.
The source added that the terrorist attacks caused material damage to houses and properties.
Homs
Two civilians were killed and 20 others were injured in attack by armed groups with rocket shells which targeted al-Zuhraa neighborhood in Homs city in a violation of the de-escalation zone memorandum.
SANA’s reporter said that armed groups located in northern countryside of Homs, which is covered by the de-escalation zone memorandum, targeted al-Zuhraa neighborhood with a number of rocket shells, killing two persons and injuring 20 others, in addition to causing material damage to houses and properties, and causing a number of cars to catch fire.
