Damascus, SANA – Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammad Samer al-Khalil on Friday met DPRK Vice Minister of External Economic Affairs Ri Myong San.
The two sides discussed economic relations and means to boost them, with al-Khalil asserting the need to boost them via agreements and fairs, adding that the visit of the DPRK delegation at the same time as Damascus International Fair is launched, which shows the strong relations between the two countries that can be developed further.
For his part, Ri Myong San voiced thanks for the invitaiton to participate in the Fair, affirming that work will continue to strengthen economic relations, and that the Syrians will overcome the crisis with their determination.
