Damascus, SANA- Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Dr. Ali Haidar affirmed that field achievements of the Syrian Arab Army, that will celebrate its anniversary foundation on August 1st, have pushed forwards the process of local reconciliations.
“There is no alternative to the return of state institutions in areas where the local reconciliations have been completed,” Haidar said during a meeting with a delegation of the popular initiative for reconciliation in al-Yarmouk camp in the presence of Director of the PLO political bureau Anwar Abdul Hadi.
The Minister added that the atmospheres and conditions in the southern areas of Damascus, particularly al-Hajar al-Aswad and Yarmouk camp have become ripe to go towards a comprehensive reconciliation in a way that ensures total handling of the areas files and contributes to a safe return for the citizens to their houses.
He affirmed that that the Syrian government rejects any bargain related to the Palestinian rights, particularly the right to return Homs.
For his part, ambassador Abdul-Hadi said that terrorism which targeted Syria served the Israeli occupation entity, hailing the Syrian Arab army’s role in combating terrorism and accelerating local reconciliations.
