Damascus, SANA – Temperatures tend to rise to become above average by 2 to 5 degrees as the country is affected by the Indian seasonal superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be hot and clear in general and misty and very hot in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia.
The winds will be northwesterly of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 38/20, Daraa 38/19, Homs 35/21, Hama 39/22, Lattakia 31/25, Aleppo 40/22 and Deir Ezzor 45/25.
