Health minister: No plague cases in al-Tal city, Damascus countryside

Damascus, SANA-Ministry of Health dismissed as groundless news circulated by social media that several plague cases have been detected in al-Tal city, Damascus countryside.

Caretaker Health Minister Dr. Saad al-Nayef said in a statement that the reports are “completely false and the health conditions in the city are very good,” indicating that medicine is available there.

Upon scrutinizing records at the health centers and hospitals in al-Tal city, no suspect or confirmed cases have been discovered, the minister affirmed, indicating that the environmental situation in the city is “in good condition.”
