Update-Some 200 gunmen leave al-Waer neighborhood

Homs, SANA-Some 200 gunmen left al-Waer neighborhood  in the framework of the reconciliation agreement and in a step towards ending all the armed manifestation in the neighborhood and paving the way for the return of the state institutions to it.

SANA reporter said that 750 persons, including 200 gunmen have left al-Waer neighborhood heading for Idleb till Monday evening, adding that the exit process is still continuing until overnight.

Earlier, the tenth batch of gunmen and some of their families’ members who reject the reconciliation agreement on Monday left al-Waer neighborhood heading for Idleb in the framework of the reconciliation agreement and in a step towards ending all the armed manifestation in the neighborhood and paving the way for the return of the state institutions to it.

Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi told SANA that about 400 gunmen are expected to leave the neighborhood along with some of their families in this batch.

Al-Barazi indicated that next Saturday, al-Waer reconciliation agreement, which started on March 8th, will be accomplished.

The Governor expected that more of the families which left the neighborhood in the previous batches will return to al-Waer neighborhood, adding that on Saturday 41 persons returned to the neighborhood after they left it heading for Jarablous City.
