172 gunmen and 1012 of their family members leave al-Waer neighborhood

Homs, SANA – The eighth stage of evacuation of gunmen who refused to join the reconciliation agreement in Homs’s al-Waer neighborhood has finished, paving the way for ending all armed manifestations in the neighborhood and the return of governmental institutions to it.

SANA reporter in Homs said that in the framework of completing the reconciliation agreement reached last March in al-Waer neighborhood, 29 buses carrying on board 172 gunmen and 1012 of their families have left al-Waer in the direction of Jarablus in the northeast countryside of Aleppo under the supervision of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the Internal Security Forces and the Russian Military Police.

Last Sunday, 463 gunmen and some of their family members headed for Idleb while hundreds others had their legal status settled in accordance with the Amnesty Decree.
