Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will witness a notable drop as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and rain showers will fall over different areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly with a moderate speed and it will be with active gusts and accompanied with dust in the inland areas while the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will remain around average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 23/7, Daraa 25/8, Homs 22/5, Lattakia, Aleppo 21/8 and Deir Ezzor 29/12.
