Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 5 to 9 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be southerly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will notably drop to become around average as the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers might fall over the northwestern areas and the wind will be westerly and accompanied with dust in the inland areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/14, Daraa 33/14, Homs 33/11, Lattakia 31/12, Aleppo 32/14 and Deir Ezzor 37/18.
