Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and that rain showers will fall over the northern, coastal and al-Jazeera areas while the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the eastern and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/7, Daraa 21/9, Homs 19/11, Lattakia 21/14, Aleppo 18/11 and Deir Ezzor 23/15.
